Series 3

“The original Series 1 featured a retrograde date complication and as a result of this and a further two unique pieces that are developments of my original 2001 design, I decided to devise a new Series 3 watch around my development of this fascinating complication.”

Roger’s notes

“I’ve always enjoyed solving the retrograde date complication, but those I had created featured on unique pieces, rather than on a production watch.

After deciding to revisit the Series 1 as a time-only piece, back in 2013, I realised I now had an opportunity to create a beautifully elegant watch around this fascinating complication.

From a purely aesthetic viewpoint, what I particularly appreciate about the Series 3 is the resulting balance of the retrograde date against the seconds-dial at ‘six o’clock’.

The creation of the Series 3 also meant that another ambition was now within my grasp - a full range of watches…”
