Marking the first time the Horological Society of New York (HSNY) has ‘gone international’, Roger has been hugely honoured to become one of the first international trustees for this 156 year old society.
19 January, 2022Founded in 1866, the Horological Society of New York (HSNY) is one of the oldest continuously operating horological associations in the world. Today, HSNY is dedicated to advancing the art and science of horology through education.
Over the years Roger has developed a collaborative relationship with HSNY and has had the privi-lege of giving their annual lecture in New York. This appointment coincides with a period of unprec-edented international growth for the HSNY.
In sharing the announcement, Roger said; “It’s a huge honour to have been appointed a Trustee. As a watchmaker I have long admired HSNY’s work to advance horology and, as Chairman of our own Alliance of British Watch and Clock Makers, I very much appreciate HSNY’s partnership”.
